Demonstrating its commitment to British manufacturing, Marshall-Tufflex has invested in a state-of-the-art conduit machine at its Hastings site.

The leading UK manufacturer of cable management solutions has explained that the investment is a further reinforcement of its commitment to innovation, efficiency and sustainability.

The new machine significantly enhances production capacity, achieving an output of 30 metres of conduit per minute – a 32.5% increase compared to its predecessor. Additionally, the advanced system automates both banding and packing, streamlining operations and reducing manual handling. Designed for versatility, the machine can produce both 20mm and 25mm conduit, whereas the previous system was limited to 20mm. Through ongoing trials, the team is also working to further increase the recycled material content.

Jon Chamberlain, managing director said of the move: โ€œThe investment in modern machinery not only improves productivity but also enhances our energy efficiency and reduces our environmental impact.โ€ This upgrade demonstrates Marshall-Tufflexโ€™s commitment to UK manufacturing and sustainability, ensuring continued excellence in cable management solutions.
