Industrial enclosures manufacturer Spelsberg UK has strengthened its customer support with a new national sales manager. Clare McCusker, previously Spelsberg UK’s area sales manager for the East of England, steps up to the role to manage the company’s UK sales operations. The move is part of Spelsberg’s increasing commitment to the UK market and continual expansion to support OEMs, end users, as well as the distribution market.
The role includes management of Spelsberg’s sales network, including regional field sales, providing advice on industrial enclosure specification for customers across the UK. The appointment is part of continued expansion at Spelsberg that has recently seen the recruitment of a new Area Sales Manager for Spelsberg UK’s northern region.
The national sales manager role comprises enclosure specification and design support for OEM designers as well as end users. Spelsberg increases support to this market through its in-house enclosure design and customisation team, including full CNC machining capabilities. Spelsberg UK’s Telford headquarters also carries high-volume stock to support fast enclosure availability.
A key aspect of the national sales manager role will also involve supporting the growth of the enclosure manufacturer’s distribution and wholesale network. Spelsberg is extending its distribution channels supplying enclosures to electrical installers across the UK.
Clare has a strong career background in industrial applications, working for Schneider Electric and Weidmuller before joining Spelsberg in 2011. During Clare’s 11 years specifying industrial enclosures for the UK market, she has developed many key accounts at Spelsberg and will retain direct support for some customers as she transitions to her new role.
