Electrical wholesaler YESSS Electrical is celebrating the opening of its Birkenhead branch. The store, located at Units 3-4 Priory Point, Chester Street, Birkenhead, launched on January 5th, following the £135,000 refit of an existing building.

The branch has created seven new jobs, with plans to grow the team quickly. Though a small team, the Birkenhead staff have an impressive nearly 90 years combined experience in the Electrical wholesale industry between them.

The 5,000sq ft space is YESSS’s fifth branch in the region, with a further branch expected to open later this year.

YESSS Electrical launched in 2012 and is now one of the UK’s fastest growing companies, having opened 84 branches in just 12 months, creating 800 jobs and achieving turnover of more than £100m.

Branch manager, Paul Rooney said: “YESSS Electrical is a dynamic and forward thinking company that is transforming the electrical wholesale industry by focussing on what YESSS stands for – Your Electrical Supplies, Service and Solutions.

“We’re really keen for local people – both tradesmen and the general public – and those from further afield working in the area, to come down and see what we have to offer.”
