Cable management specialist, Unitrunk, has secured a trio of accreditations as part of a continuous improvement programme intended to formalise systems within the business and lay consistent foundations for growth.
Following a year long process of preparation and audits, the company has achieved the ISO 14001 Environmental accreditation and ISO 9001 Quality Assurance accreditation along with OHSAS 18001 Health & Safety accreditation.
The OHSAS certification is an internationally-recognised UK-based accreditation for health and safety and Unitrunk expects to transition its systems and best practice in this area to the new ISO 45001 Health & Safety standard when this is introduced next year.
All three certifications formalise processes and systems that have been at the heart of Unitrunkโs business for many years, underpinning the companyโs reputation for product quality, customer service, environmental responsibility and safety.
Operations Director, Graham Milligan, said: โThese certifications not only underpin customer confidence in our systems and integrity, they will also play an important part in succession planning for Unitrunk, ensuring all policies and processes are formalised and consistent across the company to enable knowledge transfer from our health and safety, quality assurance and environmental managers to the whole team.โ
