One Electrical celebrates 20 per cent growth with three millionth sale

LED lighting specialist, One Electrical, has celebrated a record year of growth by supplying its three millionth product.

The Manchester-headquartered manufacturer has achieved a 20 per cent increase in turnover during the past financial year and, following investment in an additional 15,000sq ft of warehousing adjacent to its existing site, expects to grow by a further one fifth during the current financial year.

Gerard Hall, managing director of One Electrical, said: “We were one of the first electrical suppliers to specialise in LED lighting and by remaining ahead of technology we have built a loyal customer base both across the UK distributor network and in key international markets, including Dubai, South Africa and Saudi Arabia.

“Our established manufacturing base, in-house lighting design capabilities and reliable supply chain support a comprehensive product portfolio that include premium ranges with a five-year warranty and branded Cree and Mean Well components.

“As a result, we have remained ahead in a very competitive marketplace and are continuing to grow and invest in product development and stock holding capabilities.”

One Electrical already has a 30,000sq ft office and warehousing facility on its existing site, enabling the company to offer next day delivery on its core product range. The new warehouse will increase the company’s stock holding base in the UK by 50 per cent, enabling it to invest in new products and increase existing lines to keep up with stockists.

Gerard continues: “Our aim is always to ensure that the service we offer matches the high quality of our products. As our customer base grows, we will continue to invest in our business to ensure that we can maintain those standards as the company develops.”
