The Merseyside Electrical Trades Association (META) has once again delivered a successful Charity Golf Day, bringing together leading names from across the electrical industry in support of children’s charities including Claire House, Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Zoe’s Place and the Electrical Industries Charity.
This year’s event, held in July at Blundell’s Hill Golf Club, saw strong participation from manufacturers, wholesalers and buying groups. Teams from Hager, Marshall Tufflex, ProjectEV, Edmundson Electrical, independent wholesalers and, for the first time, the IBA Buying Group all took part, reflecting the growing reach and impact of the annual fundraiser.

META also acknowledged the generous support of event sponsor Ansell Lighting, alongside contributions from Aico and Wiska. A dedicated team of volunteers included LCA’s Lawrence Crawford, Andrea (Ansell), Georgia (Elucian), Dave McBride (Stearn), and Steve Fletcher (Teum).
