Evec partners with Voltimum for EV charging solutions

Evec, a leading provider of EV chargers and solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with Voltimum, the leading online community for the electrical industry. Under this partnership, evec will leverage Voltimum’s platform to connect with a wider audience of electricians, contractors, and other professionals in the electrical industry to educate and inspire those in the industry about its great new EV charging solutions.

The UK is experiencing a surge in the number of electric cars, according to Zap-Map, and as consumer demand continues to rise and more electric models become available, evec looks to capitalise on this growth. As of the end of February 2024, there were over one million fully electric cars on UK roads, with an additional 620,000 plug-in hybrids. Since its launch in 2022, evec has seen astronomical growth, turning over £3 million in its first full year of operation (2023). With the demand for EVs growing and this new partnership, evec aims to increase its share in the market and expand its reach and customer base.

“By partnering with Voltimum, we are able to bring our products to a wider audience across the electrical vehicle industry,” said Olivia Serrage, Marketing Director at evec. “This partnership will allow us to connect with electricians and contractors across the country and help them find the products and solutions they need to work with EVs.”

Through the partnership, evec will showcase its wide range of EV charging products on Voltimum’s platform, including both its commercial and residential EV chargers. Additionally, evec will be able to call on Voltimum’s community of electrical professionals to gain valuable insights and feedback on its products and services.

“We are looking forward to join forces with evec in educating the industry on Renewables, EV and Sustainability,” said Naomi McKenzie, Sales Manager at Voltimum. “EV is such an important step to the net zero target for 2025, and we’re thrilled that we have evec on board to educate our audience on the EV industry.”
