Draka, part of the Prysmian Group, has launched the Tool Fast Keystone Jack and Tool Fast Installer Tool to speed the termination of Cat5e and Cat6 data cables.
The Tool Fast Keystone Jack and Tool Fast Installer Tool are the latest additions to Draka’s Universal Cabling (UC) Connect system. Draka has also launched an angled, unshielded empty patch panel for Cat5e and Cat6 data cables under the brand.
The UC Connect Tool Fast Keystone Jack is compatible with fully shielded foiled twisted pair cables (S/FTP) with diameters from 23 to 26 AWG.
The Tool Fast Keystone Jack will enable Cat5e and Cat6 cables to be terminated up to 40% quicker than a standard keystone connector when used with the UC Connect Tool Fast Installer Tool which has a built-in length guide to help installers strip the cable jacket back 55mm using the built-in jacket-stripper to reveal the twisted pairs.
