Debox 2 SL is the UK’s first 100% tool-less junction box. Assembly takes just a few seconds – unlike competing products, Debox 2 SL is supplied complete with all components needed to join flat or round profile cable, including a UL and VDE-approved 4-pole terminal block.
The installer always has everything he needs immediately to hand, there’s no need to hunt for a terminal block, dropped screw or missing fixing ever again.
Debox SL uses a ratchet arm to secure the cable within the junction box, which provides secure cable retention. A fixing pin is used in place of a screw, clipping the lid in place quickly and efficiently.
Finally, two mounting ears are included which allow the Debox to be securely fastened in place, relieving tension from the cables.
Debox 2 SL junction boxes are maintenance-free and constructed from white polypropylene. Flame retardant to UL940V 0, they conform to the EN60598-1 (13.3.2) Glow Wire Test and are IP20 protected.
