Following the latest information and social distancing guidance issued by the UK government, Datateam Business Media has taken the difficult decision to cancel the upcoming EW Awards which was due to take place on Thursday 21 May 2020.
Event manager Sharon Holloway comments: “While the EW Awards team was looking forward to hosting this incredible industry celebration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the event as the safety and wellbeing of all of our attendees, staff and their communities is our number one priority.
“However, we feel it is still important that we recognise the hard work, dedication and innovation of companies that have put themselves forward and those that have deservingly been selected as winners.”
This year’s winners will be notified directly and a trophy to commemorate their success will be sent to them. An awards supplement will also be published in an upcoming issue of Electrical Wholesaler to honour all involved.
