{"id":8482,"date":"2015-04-30T09:05:02","date_gmt":"2015-04-30T09:05:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ewnews.co.uk\/?p=8482"},"modified":"2015-04-30T09:05:02","modified_gmt":"2015-04-30T09:05:02","slug":"napit-support-kier-and-sheffield-city-council-on-amendment-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ewnews.co.uk\/index.php\/napit-support-kier-and-sheffield-city-council-on-amendment-3\/","title":{"rendered":"NAPIT support Kier and Sheffield City Council on Amendment 3"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NAPIT has delivered a seminar on Amendment 3 to the 17<sup>th<\/sup> Edition Wiring Regulations to engineers from Kier Services and the Sheffield City Council.<\/p>\n<p>As part of NAPIT\u2019s ongoing efforts to educate electrical installers on the changes to the 17<sup>th<\/sup> Edition Wiring Regulations, the seminar provided both organisations with all the required knowledge on Amendment 3.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe feel it is vital that local authorities and installers are up to date with the latest changes to the Wiring Regulations,\u201d said NAPIT Regional Inspections Manager, Michael Collinge.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are currently travelling the country to make sure as many installers have the required knowledge as possible. The seminar was well attended by representatives from both organisations and the engagement from attendees was fantastic.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Andy Hill, a Senior Housing Officer at Sheffield Council, said: \u201cThe content of the seminar was exactly what was needed to make sure all relevant contractors know all about Amendment 3. Maintaining our knowledge is key and we are grateful to NAPIT for the opportunity to update us in this suitable seminar format.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Paul Roddis, Electrical Compliance Team Leader at Kier Services, said: \u201cFor us, the event ticked all the boxes. The presentation covered everything we needed to know on the Wiring Regulations and was delivered in an engaging manner.
