Leading manufacturer of cable glands, cleats and accessories CMP Products has announced a strategic restructure of its UK and Europe sales team. The move aims to reinforce CMP’s commitment to sustainable growth, customer understanding and long\u2011term market leadership.<\/p>\n
As part of the new structure, Laurie Wilson has been promoted to Regional Manager (UK, Ireland & Europe and Central Asia), recognising more than a decade of contribution to the business. Jean\u2011Baptiste Praud has been promoted to Regional Sales Manager (Europe), while Gary Groves joins CMP as Regional Sales Manager (UK and Ireland) from Riello UPS. Jean\u2011Baptiste and Gary will report to Laurie, who in turn reports to CEO Vince Patterson.<\/p>\n
In addition, Kath Kearns will transition into a Key Account Manager (Europe) role, further strengthening support for strategic customers across the region. With nearly 39 years at the business, she has played a key role in driving growth and building strong, lasting relationships with customers across Europe, and her new role ensures continued focus on these key relationships.<\/p>\n
The restructure follows a comprehensive review of CMP\u2019s sales model, focused on aligning regional leadership, succession planning, customer service and lead generation. By bringing the UK, Ireland and Europe under a unified leadership structure, CMP aims to enhance strategic alignment, improve resource efficiency and provide a consistent, high\u2011quality experience for multinational customers, while retaining strong local market expertise.<\/p>\n
