{"id":24580,"date":"2026-04-28T12:09:14","date_gmt":"2026-04-28T11:09:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ewnews.co.uk\/?p=24580"},"modified":"2026-04-28T12:09:14","modified_gmt":"2026-04-28T11:09:14","slug":"luceco-group-to-sponsor-selects-presidents-lunch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ewnews.co.uk\/index.php\/luceco-group-to-sponsor-selects-presidents-lunch\/","title":{"rendered":"Luceco Group to sponsor SELECT&#8217;s President\u2019s Lunch"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Luceco Group has continued its close partnership with Scotland\u2019s largest construction trade association after agreeing to be the headline sponsor for the 2026 SELECT President\u2019s Lunch.<\/p>\n<p>The global electrical and lighting giant will be the key supporter of this year\u2019s event at The Balmoral hotel in Edinburgh on 25 September \u2013 and SELECT says the partnership illustrates the continuing success of its Associate Membership scheme.<\/p>\n<p>Iain Mason, Director of Membership, Events &amp; Communication at SELECT, said: \u201cAs one of our founding Associate Members, we are delighted that Luceco Group has agreed to be the headline sponsor for our annual flagship event.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe 2026 President\u2019s Lunch will once again see industry leaders and key decision makers from across the construction sector gather for an afternoon of networking, with the event made possible by the generosity of Luceco Group and our other sponsors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince its inception in 2022, the Associate Member scheme has gone from strength to strength, helping leading manufacturers and service providers raise their profile and form lasting relationships with electrotechnical contractors across Scotland.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The move is the second significant sponsorship partnership between SELECT and Luceco, who earlier this year agreed to return as headline sponsor for the association\u2019s annual President\u2019s Cup golf day.<\/p>\n<p>The event at Dunblane New Golf Club on 27 July will be the fourth time that Luceco have been involved and Iain added: \u201cThe President\u2019s Cup is keenly anticipated by golfers throughout the industry in Scotland and Luceco\u2019s involvement will help us deliver another excellent day of competition for members and guests alike.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ian Hunter, UK Trade Sales Director at Luceco Group, said: \u201cWe are honoured to continue our extremely close relationship with SELECT and put forward our name as headline sponsor for both the President\u2019s Lunch and President&#8217;s Cup in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince becoming a founding Associate Member, Luceco has been a strong supporter of SELECT, sponsoring the President\u2019s Lunch in Glasgow in 2022, donating electric vehicle charge point equipment for training courses, and exhibiting every year at the association\u2019s Toolbox Talk roadshows.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe look forward to continuing this long and rewarding partnership and meeting more industry leaders and contractors across Scotland in the months ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>SELECT now has more than 30 Associate Members, including manufacturers Aico, Aurora, Electrium, Megger, ROBUS and Scolmore, as well as service providers TCW, BSG and ABAX.
