With increased risk of flooding and wildfires, as well as threats to biodiversity, public health and critical infrastructure, the situation demands immediate action from everyone, from critical industries to consumers.<\/p>\n<p>However, as Layton Hill, vice president strategy at Schneider Electric recently commented, it\u2019s not too late to change course. \u201cWe already have the technology to significantly cut emissions and build a more resilient energy system,\u201d he said. \u201c80% of global CO2 reductions by 2030 can be achieved by deploying existing solutions. From smart grids to renewable energy and digital efficiency tools, real progress is being made across industries.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For example, the latest advancements in home energy technologies, where a shift toward interconnected devices and services can provide consumers with sustainable, more cost-effective alternatives to traditional energy solutions.
