She commented: \u201cNurturing the next generation of industry workers is essential for a sustainable future. Our research shows 247,000 jobs can be created in the UK by adopting clean energy technologies, but this will require ample talent and technical expertise.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis Youth Skills Day serves as a reminder for businesses to consider different ways we can equip the next generation with skills vital to the rapidly growing green economy. One way is through apprenticeship programmes, which provide technical and interpersonal skills and the flexibility to shift roles based on business learning, allowing for quick progression.<\/p>\n
\u201cGreen apprenticeships offer young people a dynamic and fulfilling route to success, supporting the UK\u2019s push to electrify our homes, vehicles, and businesses as we move away from fossil fuels.
