This annual award celebrates innovative projects and products that protect consumers from electrical hazards.<\/p>\n<p>Recognising and rewarding great ideas to help protect consumers against electrical dangers, the annual Safety Innovation Award is free \u2013 and easy \u2013 to enter. Your project or product doesn&#8217;t need to be complete \u2013 it can be in the creation or prototype stage. Simply let us know what you\u2019re working on.<\/p>\n<p>The award is a great opportunity to showcase your innovative project or product to retailers, manufacturers, distributors, and the wider public.<\/p>\n<p>Previous winners include:<\/p>\n<p>HobSensus: A safety device that turns kitchen hobs off when left unattended.<br \/>\nSmartLINK Gateway: A system that keeps homeowners and landlords up to date with the status of their alarm systems.<br \/>\nE-Bulb: The world\u2019s smallest fire extinguisher.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for entries is <strong>Friday, 30 August<\/strong>.
