{"id":17072,"date":"2021-10-06T10:46:04","date_gmt":"2021-10-06T10:46:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ewnews.co.uk\/?p=17072"},"modified":"2021-10-06T10:47:39","modified_gmt":"2021-10-06T10:47:39","slug":"myenergi-co-founders-take-home-national-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ewnews.co.uk\/index.php\/myenergi-co-founders-take-home-national-award\/","title":{"rendered":"myenergi co-founders take home national award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jordan Brompton and Lee Sutton, co-founders of myenergi, have topped the \u2018Rising Star\u2019 North regional category at this year\u2019s EY\u00a0Entrepreneur Of The Year&#x2122; programme.\u00a0Celebrating the UK\u2019s most ambitious business leaders, the programme recognises their ambitious journeys, disruptive thinking and commitment to making a positive impact on the economy.<\/p>\n<p>Renowned for pioneering the world\u2019s first eco-smart electric vehicle (EV) charger, the judges were impressed with myenergi\u2019s\u00a0disruptive thinking and commitment to sustainability. Since founding the business in 2016, the renewable duo have launched an industry-defining portfolio of green technologies and opened subsidiaries all over the world.<\/p>\n<p>Following their regional success, Jordan and Lee will now\u00a0progress to the UK finals, with the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year&#x2122;\u00a0overall winner set to be announced in November.<\/p>\n<p>Jordan commented: \u201cBeing nominated in the programme \u2013 let alone taking home an award \u2013 has been a real honour. Considering the challenges of the past 18 months, it\u2019s a privilege to be recognised for our diligence, enthusiasm and commitment to innovation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen Lee and I founded myenergi, the vision was simple \u2013 create a positive impact, push the boundaries of possibility and change the world through pioneering green technologies.\u00a0We started with nothing, except for a few good ideas and a serious passion for change. Just five years later, we\u2019ve turned our dream into a reality, recently shipping our 100,000<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0unit and building from a team of two to a workforce in excess of 200.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m looking forward to sharing our story at the national finals.
