Luceco with partners MEMCO supplied a cost-effective energy efficient LED lighting solution for this state-of-the-art hospital.<\/p>\n

The medical centre has a 200-bed facility and provides best practice patient-centred care as well as promoting research and education. It was considered that the and that as costs play a key role in the healthcare environment, estate maintenance and operating expenditure could be substantially reduced by introducing a highly efficient LED lighting design.<\/p>\n

O\ufb00ering an e\ufb03cacy up to 129 Llm\/cW, Platinum LED Downlights were installed in communal areas, circulation spaces and corridors, o\ufb00er running cost savings of up to 80% when compared with traditionally lamped \ufb01ttings. Other luminaires in this downlighter family include the Platinum Surface Mount providing opportunity for creative lighting design where a recessed ceiling void is not available and the popular Platinum Mini.<\/p>\n

The other principle luminaire installed was the IP65 rated Edgelit Framed LuxPanel installed in the medical procedure rooms. The 600×600 Edgelit panel features a TpB polycarbonate di\ufb00user and is suitable for use in 15 or 24mm standard exposed grid ceilings delivering up to 115Llm\/cW. Variations include \ufb01xed output and dimmable drivers as well as being Luceco Wireless Lighting Controls compatible.<\/p>\n

Al Abdali Medical Centre was founded by an investment group behind the Clemenceau Medical Centre in Beirut, a\ufb03liated with Johns Hopkins Medicine International and bene\ufb01ts from the knowledge and expertise of the Middle East\u2019s \ufb01nest medical professionals, and is considered to be the \ufb01rst hospital in Jordan o\ufb00ering patient-centred care.<\/p>\n
