Following the latest information and social distancing guidance issued by the UK government, Datateam Business Media made the difficult decision this year to cancel the EW Awards event, which was due to take place on Thursday 21 May 2020. Although the winners haven\u2019t been able to collect their trophies in person this year, winning an EW Award is still an outstanding achievement. Read on to find out which wholesalers and manufacturers were victorious in this year\u2019s EW Awards…<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhile the EW Awards team was looking forward to hosting this incredible industry celebration, we made the difficult decision to cancel the event as the safety and wellbeing of all of our attendees, staff and their communities is our number one priority,\u201d said event manager Sharon Holloway.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

She continued: \u201cHowever, we feel it is still important that we recognise the hard work, dedication and innovation of companies that have put themselves forward and those that have deservingly been selected as winners.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As a result, this year\u2019s winners have been notified directly, and a trophy has been sent to the winners to commemorate their success. This article forms part one of our two-part EW Awards supplement, in which we announce the finalists, highly commended and, of course, the winners of the EW Awards 2020. Part two will appear in the August issue of EW, where we will talk to a number of winning wholesalers and manufacturers to find out what winning this award, in such a difficult time for businesses and individuals alike, has meant to them.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
