{"id":15394,"date":"2020-06-15T10:03:19","date_gmt":"2020-06-15T10:03:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ewnews.co.uk\/?p=15394"},"modified":"2020-06-17T10:07:10","modified_gmt":"2020-06-17T10:07:10","slug":"manufacturer-helps-healthcare-charities-and-customers-get-back-on-track","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ewnews.co.uk\/index.php\/manufacturer-helps-healthcare-charities-and-customers-get-back-on-track\/","title":{"rendered":"Manufacturer helps healthcare charities and customers get back on track"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"Normal\">Wire joining device and suspension system manufacturer, Gripple, has pledged at least \u00a310,000 to healthcare charities with a new fundraising initiative.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Normal\">The announcement forms part of Gripple\u2019s campaign to \u2018Get Back on Track\u2019 supporting businesses in the construction and agriculture industries to restore momentum following the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Normal\">The Sheffield-based manufacturer, which has built its reputation on time-saving innovations, expects customers to save 460,000 hours over the next two months using its products in comparison with traditional threaded rod methods.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Normal\">Gripple has set itself a further challenge to increase its \u00a310,000 contribution by donating 5p for every additional hour saved on-site during the campaign.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Normal\">Ed Stubbs, managing director of Gripple, explains: \u201cFollowing the recent challenges felt globally amongst our customers, we wanted to throw our support behind their projects and help them get back on track with Gripple products, specifically designed to save time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Normal\">Gripple has bases in the UK, USA, Canada, Europe and India and will be extending the scheme to healthcare charities near each of its locations.\u00a0<span class=\"Normal__Char\">It gave \u00a380,000 in 2019 to charities in the UK and abroad through donations, fundraising events, and volunteer activities.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Normal\">Ed adds: \u201cWe commit to donating a percentage of our pre-tax budgeted profit to charitable organisations every year, and we\u2019re delighted to be supporting our health care workers around the world this year.\u00a0<span class=\"Normal__Char\">The \u2018Get Back on Track\u2019 campaign gives us an extra incentive to top up that donation, while supporting our customers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Normal\">Gripple\u2019s award-winning wire hanger and track systems for the suspension of building services faster to install than traditional threaded rod methods and pre-fabricated to required lengths at the point of manufacture to reduce installation time on site.
