Tile Cross Academy is part of the Washwood Heath Multi Academies\u2019 Trust (WHMAT), a family of seven schools threes secondary and four primary – serving the city of Birmingham. During the Autumn Term, Tile Cross Academy opened its \u00a37 million refurbishment with new sporting facilities, food, textiles and art environments, ICT and music classrooms, science and engineering facilities.<\/p>\n
Luceco\u2019s Leren was used in various classrooms. Leren is a contemporary and stylish linear LED pendant luminaire, o\ufb00ering both upward and downward light distribution to provide an enhanced overall lit environment, particularly where there are high or open ceiling voids to illuminate.<\/p>\n
Leren o\ufb00ers over 100,000 hours of maintenance free, operational life with an e\ufb03cacy of 120 Llm\/cW, and three lumen outputs; 4,000, 5,200 and 7,500 lm.<\/p>\n
Supplied complete with 1.5 m adjustable wire suspensions, Leren bene\ufb01ts from through-wiring, including electrical connectors as standard, to assist with both standalone and continuous run installations. Accessories available include ceiling mount electrical connection rose and blanking modules in 600, 900, 1,200 and 1,500-mm lengths. Leren is available as \ufb01xed output, DALI dimmable, emergency back-up variants, PIR and LiteIP and o\ufb00ers excellent photometric performance.<\/p>\n
Platinum Downlighters lit corridors and circulation areas, featuring easy \ufb01t positive locating swing out tabs for quick installation. Platinum and Leren are all ideal for use with sensors and lighting controls including LiteIP to further improve energy e\ufb03ciency. LiteIP is an intelligent wireless lighting system, requiring no complicated electrical installation and no limit to the number of luminaires that can be controlled and is compatible with all driver types including DSI, DALI and 1-10 V.
