Unicrimp, part of the Scolmore Group of companies, has extended its Q-Fire range of \ufb01rerated products to include new metal \ufb01re safe cable clips in two additional sizes \u2013 40mm and 50mm. As well as enhancing the existing range, the new products will meet the increasing demand from customers asking for these particular sizes to assist with a range of installations that they are working on.<\/p>\n
The \ufb01re-rated cable clips – with a pre-drilled 6mm hole in the base – are made from annealed steel and provide installers with a solution to help satisfy the latest IET wiring Regulations 18th Edition.<\/p>\n
The use of metal \ufb01xings can help prevent some of the increased risks associated with the breakout of a \ufb01re, for example preventing the premature collapse of wiring. With the Unicrimp range of \ufb01re-rated cable clips, construction site managers, electricians and electrical contractors can all be assured that the products they are specifying and installing meet the requirements of the latest 18th Edition wiring regulations.<\/p>\n
