Products from Scolmore\u2019s wiring accessories collections were specified and installed throughout Mill Lodge Care Home in Kegworth.<\/p><\/div>\n

The refurbishment of a former NHS care home, by new owners, Rushcliffe Care Group, has just been completed, with products from Scolmore\u2019s wiring accessories collections specified and installed throughout the 27-bedroom facility<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mill Lodge Care Home in Kegworth provides secure in-patient care for adults. The single storey building is made up of four main wings, with 27 bedrooms, four main corridors, kitchens and dining facilities and a range of offices and clinical support rooms.<\/p>\n

Scolmore\u2019s Deco Plus switches and sockets in a black nickel finish were selected for the bedrooms \u2013 with three light switches and double sockets in each room \u2013 as well as for all the corridors and nurses\u2019 stations.<\/p>\n

Launched last year, Deco Plus is a comprehensive range of more than 800 premium decorative metal wiring accessories that builds on the huge success of the classic Deco range \u2013 first launched in 2003 \u2013 and introduces smooth, contemporary curves that will have wide-ranging appeal with contractors, specifiers and end users alike.<\/p>\n

For the main kitchen, four satellite kitchens and offices, the Click Mode range has been installed. The smooth modern lines of the Mode range complement the Deco Plus products utilised. All white moulded and CLICK Mode Part M wiring accessories are manufactured using Urea Formaldehyde and are all independently tested achieved a 99.99% kill off rate across all four types of the strains of bacteria.<\/p>\n

Simon Bell from SB Electrical, the contractor responsible for the specification and installation of Scolmore\u2019s products, commented: \u201cI\u2019ve been using the Click Mode range of wiring accessories since the first time the range was launched. The flexibility to integrate different inserts onto a plate was quite unique at the time and I now can\u2019t remember a time when I used anything else.<\/p>\n
