Entries for the EW Awards 2018 close this month, so it\u2019s time to get cracking! The popular awards, now in their fifth year, celebrate the great products, service and achievements of electrical wholesalers, manufacturers and suppliers. Could you be a winner? You won\u2019t know unless you enter the 2018 Electrical Wholesaler Awards, which are jointly organised by Electrical Wholesaler magazine and our publisher, Datateam Business Media Ltd.<\/p>\n

Entries close on January 15th<\/sup> \u2013 so what are you waiting for?<\/strong><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s awards culminate in a gala dinner at London\u2019s Tower Hotel, on May 10th<\/sup> \u2013 the stunning venue where the first ever awards were announced back in 2014.<\/p>\n

The awards are an opportunity for wholesalers and suppliers alike to highlight to the industry their commitment to their most precious commodity \u2013 the customers.\u201d<\/p>\n

If you wish to enter or make a nomination, just visit the EW Awards website at www.electricalwholesalerawards.co.uk<\/a> where the fuss-free online entry forms can be found. Manufacturers and wholesalers will be able to enter as many categories as they like by submitting just one form.<\/p>\n

As in previous years, there are two types of award \u2013 one for wholesalers, the other for manufacturers\/supplier \u2013 and both include several categories.<\/p>\n

There are numerous awards up for grabs, from Best Wholesaler of the Year and Branch Manager of the Year to the special Training Excellence Award and a Best Wholesaler Website Award (see full list below).<\/p>\n

Manufacturers, meanwhile may enter their best and most innovative products, advertising campaigns and customer service over the past 12 months.<\/p>\n

The wholesaler awards will be decided by a two part system. The judges will convene in March to score the entries based on the awards criteria and in addition, voting will begin in February 2018, concluding at\u00a0the end of March 2018.<\/p>\n

With a combined score from judging and customer voting, the top five entries in each category will be shortlisted, with the highest scorers receiving the award.<\/p>\n

Both consumers and suppliers will be able to vote for the wholesaler categories.<\/p>\n

The manufacturer\/supplier awards will be voted for by professionals in the electrical wholesale industry. Voting will commence at the beginning of February\u00a02018 and conclude at the end of March 2018. Voting will take place online, according to strict criteria.<\/p>\n

Lifetime Contribution Award<\/h4>\n

The EW Awards also include a Lifetime Contribution Award, for which nominations are sought. If you would like to nominate an industry stalwart, whose contribution to the industry over the years has gone above and beyond, please send your nomination to Event Manager, Mike Gammon, together with a brief synopsis of why this person deserves industry recognition.
