Scolmore Group has announced that electrical industry stalwart, Tony Cable, has been appointed in a consultancy role.<\/h4>\n

Over 60 years, Cable has amassed a wealth of knowledge having started as an electrical apprentice aged 15 and recently retired as Senior Marketing and Events Engineer with the NICEIC.<\/p>\n

Marie Parry, Scolmore Group Marketing Director, said: \u201cI have been fortunate to have known and worked with Tony for the last 11 years through our collaborative involvement in various NIECEC initiatives including tech talks, ELEX shows, and of course the electrical apprentice of the year competition.<\/p>\n

\u201cHaving worked in both the domestic and commercial sectors, before going on to own his own electrical contracting business, Tony has covered all facets of the electrical industry and, with seven years spent on NICEIC\u2019s Technical Helpline, there is little that he doesn\u2019t know about the sector.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a business we are very excited to have the opportunity to harness his expertise and skills as we continue to develop our product ranges and grow the Scolmore Group of companies as a whole.\u201d<\/p>\n

Commenting on his new role with Scolmore, Tony said: \u201cWhen the opportunity to join the team came about, it was a no brainer from me.
