And at a fabulous awards dinner, hosted by TV\u2019s Ryan Philpott, at the London Lancaster Hotel (May 18), the industry gathered to honour the best of the best.<\/h4>\n<p>This was the first year in which customer and supplier voting was an integral part of the outcome in the wholesaler category awards. Additionally, the increasingly high standard and calibre of entries received this year gave our judges a very difficult time when determining their own favourites for their half of the overall score.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s judges were Richard Pagett, John Sheppard and Eddie Embleton, chaired by Electrical Wholesaler\u2019s Editor, Debbie Eales.<\/p>\n<p>All of the supplier and wholesaler nominees should be congratulated on their outstanding contribution to the trade, as evidenced by more than 1,800 votes vocalising their support for this year\u2019s entries.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-11482\" src=\"https:\/\/ewnews.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/EW_Awards_115-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ewnews.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/EW_Awards_115-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/ewnews.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/EW_Awards_115-100x150.jpg 100w, https:\/\/ewnews.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/EW_Awards_115-768x1154.jpg 768w, https:\/\/ewnews.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/EW_Awards_115-682x1024.jpg 682w, https:\/\/ewnews.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/EW_Awards_115-150x225.jpg 150w, https:\/\/ewnews.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/EW_Awards_115-333x500.jpg 333w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The final award of the evening was presented to Bob Robertson (pictured), of R&amp;B Star, for his lifetime contribution to the industry.
