First up was the Brigg Sprint Triathlon which took place on 25<sup>th<\/sup> September. LEW\u2019s Managing Director, Andy Johnson along with sons Josh Johnson (Branch Manager) and Kieren Johnson (E-Business Manager) took on the tough race which comprised a 400m swim, 20km cycle ride and 5km run.<\/p>\n<p>All three completed the course in a respectable time and managed to raise \u00a31,290 in the process for The Alzheimer\u2019s Society and for the Palliative Care Unit at the John Coupland Hospital in Gainsborough.<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps less testing, but certainly more messy was the Pretty Muddy obstacle course held at the Lincoln Showground on 1<sup>st<\/sup> October. Ladies from LEW\u2019s national head office and branches came together under the name \u201cLEW\u2019s Angels\u201d to take on the muddy course.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to their efforts, a donation of more than \u00a3800 was sent to Cancer Research UK.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Staff from LEW (Lincs Electrical Wholesalers) have been keeping fit, having fun and fund raising for charity over the last few weeks.
