Megaman has supplied 6W GU10 lamps with Dim to Warm technology at Croke Park,\u00a0Dublin, the third largest stadium in Europe. The project involved the addition of\u00a0Megaman\u2019s LED lighting to the stadium\u2019s flagship event space to allow for total\u00a0dimming control.<\/p>\n
Croke Park is headquarters of the Gaelic Athletic Association\u00a0(GAA) attracting crowds of 82,300 to Ireland\u2019s national games\u00a0\u2013 Gaelic football and hurling. The stadium is also used to\u00a0accommodate a wide range of events from concerts, meetings and\u00a0tradeshows to bespoke banqueting.<\/p>\n
The stadium\u2019s flagship event space, The Hogan Suite, has recently gone\u00a0through a total refurbishment during which Megaman\u2019s 6W LED GU10\u00a0lamps incorporating Dim to Warm technology were installed in\u00a0conjunction with the existing 50W Halogen GU10 spotlights.<\/p>\n
The conversion was carried out by Dublin based ECI Lighting who\u00a0specified the Megaman lamps as they exactly suited the dimming\u00a0requirements required in this particular area.<\/p>\n
Megaman\u2019s LED lamps with Dim to Warm provided the perfect choice\u00a0for the installation as they offered superb dimming performance, with\u00a0the benefit of LEDs emitting a warmer light very similar to Halogen when\u00a0they are dimmed. The Dim to Warm system allows a smooth transition\u00a0from 2800k to 1800k when dimmed from 100% to 10%.<\/p>\n
Megaman\u2019s Dim to Warm range of LED lamps have the same compact\u00a0profile of incandescent and halogen lamps and provide a true\u00a0replacement in terms of performance and ambience.<\/p>\n
The Megaman ranges that incorporate the ingenious Dim to Warm\u00a0technology include Candles, Classic, MR16s, AR111s and integrated LED\u00a0downlights, all of which offer 50,000 hours\u2019 life and high lumen\u00a0maintenance.<\/p>\n
