Self-Amalgamating Tape is a non-tacky silicone-rubber tape which when stretched and wrapped around cables, electrical joints, hoses and pipes combines or unites itself into a strong, seamless, rubbery, waterproof, and electrically insulating layer. Unicrimp’s Self-Amalgamating Tape is available in black in a 19mm x 10mm roll.
The new Heat Shrink Tubing is available in multicolour packs and in a variety of sizes – 4.8mm, 6.4mm, 9.5mm, 12.7mm and 19.1mm widths and all in 225mm lengths. In general, heat shrink tubing is used to protect and insulate electrical components from external factors such as moisture, dust, abrasion, and sharp objects that might otherwise cause damage.
