Prysmian Group welcomes the arrival of Comms Centre, the latest distributor of its Draka branded Universal Cabling (UC) Connect system in the UK.
This is a new partnership and with Comms Centre looking to extend its business portfolio, Draka’s solution was the perfect fit. A leading distributor of cabling in the UK, Comms Centre operates throughout the UK enabling Draka to increase its installer base.
Adrian Austin, UK Sales Manager for Prysmian Group’s Data Division comments that this appointment will provide Comms Centre’s installers, and their clients peace of mind because its copper and fibre data cables are produced in its own factories in the UK and EU.
Business Development Manager for the Draka brand, Phil Silvey, said that this was a great opportunity for both companies to grow with initial estimation being that Comms Centre’s existing customer base will be open to switching to the Draka UC systems. Comms Centre outlets will stock Draka branded Cat5E, Cat6 and Cat6a and UC Fibre (utilising Bendbright bend insensitive fibre as standard).
“This is a great chance get the Draka systems to more customers and an opportunity to develop more UC Connect system installers,” Mr Silvey said. “It’s a good fit for us because both companies focus on good relationships and excellent customer service.”
Comms Centre Managing Director, Peter Krovina, said: “We like to offer our customers as much support and technical information as we can on product ranges and UC Connect systems.
“We are working very closely with the team at Draka to make sure that the relationships we are building with our customers are strong.”
