New thin film illumination ‘press to exit’ switches
Acal BFi announce a new breakthrough “press to exit” switch featuring a thin film illuminated backplate with optional colour schemes, providing you with an attractive alternative to the standard stainless steel switch.
This innovative “press to exit” switch with thin film illumination offers a more flexible design and aesthetically pleasing alternative with the added benefit of low voltage illumination in a low profile design.
The new switch uses an industry standard dome switch from ITW which is placed on an acrylic material with thin film illumination technology form Stadium IGT. The material can be screen printed in different colours of text, making a low profile 12v system that can be retrofitted to existing back boxes or supplied with an optional new back box.
