Leading cables distributor, Batt Cables, has announced a new brand identity and major new premises acquisition, as part of its long-term growth strategy. Batt is the longest established cables distributor in the UK, with operations across Europe and in the USA. Following the businessโs recent change of ownership and an in-depth review process, Batt has developed a new strategy, which is now being rolled out by the new leadership team.
Following the companyโs evolution, its new vision statement of intent is “to be the Go-To choice for cable solutions.” Batt plans to deliver the vision through a renewed focus on the customer.
Visually, the new logo includes a blue circle icon with three cable โstripesโ, which is designed to symbolise the brand purpose. While the colour blue is associated with trust and dependability, the new electric blue primary colour adds a freshness and energy in keeping with the business renewal. The new logo typeface is more contemporary yet retains friendliness.
The new branding will feature on a new 250,000 sq ft logistics centre in South Yorkshire. The new build premises complements existing Batt warehouse facilities in Kent, Bristol, Manchester and Edinburgh, and will create additional supply chain capacity to underpin future growth.
Batt will utilise this increased capacity to make further improvements to its customer proposition, cementing its reputation for service excellence. The new warehouse location allows convenient access to the M1, M18 and M62 motorways for easy transportation in North and South directions. The facility will become operational in a phased introduction programme over the next few months.
