Metpro’s new “Chapter 52™” Fire – Clips are fully compliant with the new wiring regulations concerning cabling in escape routes and offer sensible “user friendly” features for use with 25 x 16mm PVC mini trunking.
The clip has easy to fold, offset “tabs” to retain cables in mini trunking and have neat curved sides and edges for safely pushing into mini trunking.
They can be moved smoothly along the inside of the trunking to the screw fixing point and have unique slotted fixing holes. This means they don’t need to be screwed to the wall at the same time as the trunking as with other clips currently available. Instead they can be easily pushed under the slackened screws holding the trunking to the wall making installation an easy one man job.
This also means that they can be retrofitted simply by slackening off the screws within the trunking without having to remove the cables. Their design also allows for off centre fitting, particularly useful on uneven walls.
Metpro FRC25 Fire-Clips can also be used on their own to secure Fireproof Cables directly to the wall.
