New additions to the Timeguard Weathersafe family of outdoor power sockets and accessories for summer 2015 have done away with old-school cable knock outs and introduced replaceable M20 threaded screw outs. So even if you occasionally choose the wrong cable location, you can now correct your error without compromising the IP66 rating.
The new products also offer the sleek appearance and ease of use of the original Weathersafe Vision range, with Timeguard’s mouldings allowing for full sized polycarbonate windows that stay clear for years so that users can see at a glance what the on/off status of an appliance plugged into an outdoor socket is.
Naturally, the option of opaque versions is offered as well. The patented neoprene seals and an improved latching design will withstand opening and closing time and time again, without compromising the IP66 rating.
The new product options cover all your core requirements with single and double gang switched sockets, with neon on/off indicators, RCD’s sockets and fused spur RCDs.
Also new this summer is a selection of IP68 outdoor power connectors designed to connect cable runs safely in outdoor installations.
