The National Agent’s Golf Society (NAGS) is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, and recently held its annual Open Golf Tournament and Agents conference.
The event is held in a different parts of the country each year depending on who the captain is. For 2024, the captain was Adrian Frearson of Dereck Freason Agencies, and the event was held at Rockcliffe Hall in Darlington. This year’s champion was Matt Holmes (pictured below) from WRA (White Rose Agencies).
Electrical manufacturers agents, or commercial agents, look after the sales and marketing on behalf of manufacturers across the UK, selling directly into electrical wholesalers. They represent brand leaders such as Manrose Fans, Kosnic Lighting, Crompton Lamps, Project EV, Wiska UK, Doncaster Cables, Rolec, Stiebel Eltron and more.
NAGS members are all well known to electrical wholesale distributors, from independents to the CEOs of the nationals. Many have been in the business more more than 35 years, promoting products which in many cases end up with significant market share.
