Maximum performance from new Inceptor LED downlight
Scolmore has unveiled its new Inceptor integrated LED downlight – Inceptor Max – an even more powerful and more energy efficient update, that meets the latest industry standards.
When the recent amendments to Part L Building regulations came into play in April, the focus was on energy saving lighting solutions. New-build homes must now be 6% more efficient than before, while energy-efficient standards in non-domestic buildings must increase by 9%.
Inceptor Max offers increased lumen output of 550Lm and increased efficacy of 70 lm/watt. It comes in dimmable (8.5W) and non-dimmable options (8W) – in a compact design. It utilises a custom built SMD LED chipset with a 6 LED array.
Inceptor Max is a fire-rated, integrated LED downlight with a high-powered, compact, pre-wired driver and flow connector. It can be fitted into a recess depth of just 61mm. It features Scolmore’s popular Flow Connectors which make it quick and easy to install as well as to remove and replace.
IP65 rated, Inceptor Max incorporates Scolmore’s award-winning FlameGuard system technology, offers a 90-minute fire rating and is acoustic and airflow compliant. Scolmore’s blue strip of intumescent adds extra protection against fire by expanding to fill the gap between plasterboard and light fitting.
