Luxonic picks up the Lighting Industry Academy’s Ambassador torch
For over 30 years, Luxonic’s passion for developing and manufacturing energy efficient equipment has seen them deliver their portfolio of lighting products to some of the world’s most innovative businesses, and becoming the UK’s foremost designer of lighting solutions.
By committing to Ambassador Status, Luxonic join over fifteen of the most respected names spanning the lighting industry, business and education.
“Luxonic have a strong commitment to learning and to support those, like the Academy, who try and improve the industry and the way it operates,” said George Payas, Luxonic Marketing Communications Manager.
Luxonic have already been doing their bit to help educate the industry by providing a few short courses, such as an LED CPD course. They have embraced the philosophy of the Lighting Industry Academy and believe it provides a focused approach to learning, which is currently missing from the industry.
The Academy has come to be recognised as the lighting industry’s home for learning. This has been achieved by providing a central hub for all lighting related learning, not just to our industry but to the wider community who are trying to get the best out of the fantastic new products and technology our industry has to offer.
The pinnacle so far being the introduction of the first ever HNC in lighting being taught in the UK through the LIA and University of South Wales (USW).
With the support and enthusiasm of its new and established Ambassadors the Academy will build on its foundations to develop the lighting community for a bright and exciting future.
