Lumineux Lighting is celebrating a significant achievement after B&T Associates Ltd, the company trading as Lumineux Lighting, was awarded an EcoVadis Silver Medal following its very first sustainability assessment.

The result places the business among the top 15% of companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide over the previous 12 months, marking an important milestone in the company’s ongoing commitment to responsible business practices.

EcoVadis is a globally recognised provider of business sustainability ratings, assessing companies across four key areas: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. The assessment looks at how businesses manage their sustainability responsibilities, considering the policies, actions and measures they have in place.

For Lumineux Lighting, achieving Silver at the first attempt is particularly rewarding and reflects the work already being carried out across the business.

A family-run UK lighting manufacturer and distributor with a history dating back to 1986, Lumineux has built its reputation on supplying reliable, high-quality LED lighting solutions for commercial, industrial and outdoor applications. Operating from its Lincolnshire base, the company works closely with electrical wholesalers, contractors and specifiers across the UK, offering an extensive range of lighting products alongside technical support and a free lighting design service.

With energy efficiency playing an increasingly important role in the lighting industry, Lumineux continues to focus on developing practical, reliable LED lighting solutions that help customers manage energy consumption while meeting the demands of modern installations.

The EcoVadis assessment has also provided the business with an opportunity to review its own operations in greater detail, recognising areas of strength while identifying where further improvements can be made.

Achieving Silver on the first assessment is a positive reflection of the company’s approach so far, but Lumineux sees it as a starting point rather than a finishing line.

As the business continues to grow and develop its product offering, the team remains focused on building upon this achievement and making further progress across the areas assessed by EcoVadis.

The Silver Medal is an achievement everyone at Lumineux Lighting is proud to share, and an encouraging step forward for the business.
