In March 2021, York became LEW’s 14th branch across the UK. With the nation emerging from a lockdown, this was a tough time for the industry and LEW was determined to grow – the York branch was the seventh in the Yorkshire region, and in turn became the largest electrical wholesaler in Yorkshire!

To celebrate the  first anniversary of LEW York, the company is hosting a Trade Show on 1 April at the York Rugby Club, starting at 6pm.

Designed for Electricians, Electrical Contractors and Facilities Managers in the area, it’s a great way of talking first hand to the industry leading brands such as JCC Lighting, KSR, Hager and Scolmore.

LEW will lay on some free food and will have a fantastic holiday worth £3,000 to give away, amongst some other great prizes, including a Nintendo Switch & Experience Day. To enter, show attendees need to have spent £100 in the York branch during the past 3 months, and of course need to attend the show!

“We always enjoy seeing our customers and this will be a great social occasion where they can talk with suppliers in a relaxed atmosphere. Given we’ve not been able to enjoy too many summer holidays the past couple of years, we are hoping this will entice people to come along. We’re also seeing this as an opportunity to meet new customers as well, who may want to see what we have to offer,” said Phill Middleton, Branch Manager, LEW York.
