Hughes Trade has been named the Miele Professional Partner for the East Midlands, following the sale of the previous incumbent, Wilson Electrics, to JLA.
Hughes Trade will now employ 10 of Wilson Electricsโ staff and operate from premises in Boston Road, Leicester and be under the day to day control of manager Jason Smith.
From here the Hughesโ team will service customers in Cambridgeshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire and parts of Buckinghamshire and Warwickshire.
โThis is a great vote of confidence in Hughes Trade and how we operate,โ said General Manager, Paul Chisnall. โWe have been a Miele Professional Partner for over four years looking after Norfolk and Suffolk so we already have the experience in supplying and servicing the companyโs extensive range of commercial laundry and dishwasher products.
โAfter sale support, the continuing care and service of a commercial appliance, is as important as product selection so itโs advisable it is undertaken by the right team. JLA do not have Miele Professional Partner status so we were delighted when Miele asked us to take over the East Midlands area and provide authorised service to Miele customers there.”
Les Marshall, Sales & Marketing Director at Miele Professional said: โI am delighted that following the sale of Wilson Electrics we have been able to work with Hughes Trade to ensure a rapid and seamless transfer of Mieleโs affairs, ensuring our customers continue to receive the very highest levels of service.
โHughes has shown a tremendous commitment to the Miele brand over the years with a highly motivated and skilled team. This enthusiasm will now be extended throughout the East Midlands and we looking forward to continuing our successful relationship.”
Hughes Electrical launched its Trade Division in 2007 which today has over 50 employees, an annual turnover of ยฃ16m and operates from 14 locations across the country with its HQ in Norwich.
