Hughes Trade has promoted Dean Porter to the role of General Manager.
He has over 20 years’ experience of electrical retailing, starting as a salesperson in Hughes’ store in Norwich, then becoming assistant manager before moving to manage the Halesworth branch.
In 2015 he transferred to Hughes Trade becoming Operations Manager. In his new role he will be responsible for the Division’s smooth running and the development of its nine trade counters and staff across the country.
Mr Porter will also look to grow Hughes Trade’s own brand of products marketed under the Altimo name.

Hughes Trade is the B2B Division of Hughes Electrical, specialising in the supply of a wide range of electrical products to businesses across the UK including hotels, restaurants, schools, construction firms and holiday parks.
Products range from CCTV to the latest cutting-edge audio visual and IT technology to essential kitchen appliances and everything in-between. It started trading in 2007 and now has over 4,500 active accounts.
