Kidde takes a fresh approach to smoke alarms with the new 10-year guaranteed HomeProtect range. It offers homeowners four different, easily identifiable alarms – each with special features suited to a particular room.
All HomeProtect alarms have a sealed-in lithium battery lasting the full 10-year alarm life, optical sensor technology for continuous protection, loud 85dB alarm sounder and end-oflife warning. HomeProtect alarms are simple for anyone to install with a single-screw mounting bracket and easy to operate with a Hush and Test button.
The WFP model is recommended for Living Areas, while WFPV has a voice warning as well as alarm sounder and is ideal for use in Bedrooms. For Kitchens, WFPCO uses intelligent multitechnologies to detect both fire and carbon monoxide gas. Its smoke and CO sensors interact and can distinguish between non-harmful cooking fumes or steam and real fires. Essential for hallways and landings, the WFPL includes a high intensity LED emergency light to illuminate the escape route during a fire.
