Hamilton continues to expand with the appointment of two new area sales managers
With new business wins and a commitment to expand its business, Hamilton Litestat has appointed two new area sales managers. Iain Hamilton is Area Manager for the West Midlands and parts of the East Midlands, while Justin Whitham will manage the South West.
Iain joins the family-run business with over 35 years’ experience in the electrical industry. He has worked for a number of prominent brands that include wholesalers Hawnt Electrical and Edmundson Electrical, as well as manufacturers Walsall Conduits, Legrand and Contactum.
Justin joins the Hamilton team with 17 years’ experience, having begun his career as a graduate trainee manager with Denmans Electrical in 2000. He has managed branches for national and independent wholesalers and decided to move into the manufacturing side of the industry at the start of 2017.
Both Iain and Justin will support Hamilton in generating new business and increasing market share for the brand, as well as maintaining exceptional relations with existing customers within their geographical regions.
“I am delighted to be given the opportunity to represent a manufacturer with such a respected reputation within the industry and a management team that has a vision for the future growth of the business,” says Justin. “I am looking forward to working with existing and prospective customers to offer both stock and bespoke solutions to all situations and encourage anyone I have not yet met or who is seeking new opportunities to contact me to arrange a meeting.”
Iain comments: “I’m looking forward to the challenge of developing and growing in an already well-known name within the industry with its unique range of electrical wiring accessories, consumer units, lighting control and audio offerings. I have already begun working closely with customers and colleagues and look forward to continuing this to educate and assist in the continual growth of the Hamilton brand.”
Hamilton is currently redeveloping and expanding its facilities in Bristol to create a turnkey production, sales and distribution centre, due to be operational by the end of Q2, 2017.
