Building Automation specialist B.E.G. is proudly marking its 50th anniversary this year, celebrating five decades of innovation, quality and commitment to energy-efficient building automation.
Founded in 1975 as a family-owned business in Lindlar, Germany, B.E.G. (Brück Electronic GmbH) has grown from a pioneering lighting electronics manufacturer into a globally recognised company in presence and motion detectors, DALI systems, KNX solutions, and building automation technologies.
With subsidiaries and partners in over 30 countries, the manufacturer continues to influence the future of smart lighting across industrial, commercial, and residential sectors.
B.E.G. director for UK and Ireland Paul Jones said: “Reaching our 50th anniversary is a testament to the trust our customers, partners and employees have placed in us.

Over the last five decades, B.E.G. has launched numerous industry-first products, including some of the earliest presence detectors, and continues to lead in cutting-edge technologies such as Bluetooth enabled lighting control, daylight harvesting and fully integrated building management systems.
