FireAngel, one of Europe’s leading providers of smoke, heat and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms, has appointed a new Trade Product Manager to further expand its impressive product development capabilities to support installers in fulfilling the increasing demands of the UK housing sector.
As FireAngel’s Trade Product Manager, Martin Phillips will be responsible for enhancing FireAngel’s longstanding commitment to providing electrical contractors serving the UK housing market with innovative alarms that deliver the highest possible standards of detection, quality, functionality and usability.
With over 25 years’ experience in senior product roles throughout the electrical engineering sector, Martin will be applying his extensive knowledge in product development and application to support FireAngel in accelerating its product development journey throughout 2023.
This includes working in partnership with FireAngel’s operations and development divisions to further extend its dedication to combining the highest standards of software and hardware together to achieve compliant alarm systems that provide first class protection and user experience.
Speaking of his appointment, Martin said: “It’s a very exciting time to be joining the team here at FireAngel. As a customer-centric business, we are committed to understanding exactly what our customers require, then designing and developing certified products that add real value to their lives.
“Whilst ensuring standalone alarms continue to seamlessly transition with connectivity, we are also dedicated to incorporating environmental sensing technologies into our alarms to address external environmental factors, such as damp and mould. This is an issue that has been made all the more prevalent by fuel poverty, so it is imperative that we build the necessary requirements into our product development to provide installers and their customers with all-round protection.”
