On p24, we share a new report from BEAMA on alternative clean heat solutions. According to the trade association’s estimations, the combined flexibility potential of all thermal storage systems available could be 10 GW by 2030–more than double the capacity forecast by NESO in their Clean Power 2030 pathway. “Put simply, flexibility enables the UK to squeeze more capacity out of the existing grid,” BEAMA explains.
Tridonic’s James Huntington, meanwhile shares some thoughts on how smart management tools can help to deliver energy savings, cost savings and improved sustainability practices for retrofit building projects. Read more on page 28.
