With van break-ins and tool thefts rising, two additions to ESP’s Essentials security products range offer tradesmen peace of mind.

The VanCam HD 1080p and CanCam HD 1080p are battery-operated, high-resolution surveillance cameras with an integral PIR detector, SD card recording and black infra-red illumination. They detect movement and instantly record high quality images and recordings, with time and date, in all
conditions day and night.

With 1080p Full HD video resolution and 8MP still image resolution, they will deliver superior quality footage and images.

Designed with the theft of vans and tools in mind, the VanCam has a steel, vandal-resistant casing that prevents theft of the system or removal of the SD card.

Recording is triggered via PIR or time lapse programming, directly to the 4GB SD card supplied. This stores up 1,000 still images or 100 video clips. Cards up to 32GB can be used.

The camera has a high quality fixed 6mm lens to match the detection angle of the PIR and has an IP55 weatherproof rating.

VanCam 1080P and the CanCam 1080P are ideal for protecting vans, sheds, garages and outbuildings. They also provide general surveillance of property or livestock and monitoring of anti-social behaviour such as fly-tipping.
