The SBS Leaders Forum was founded by industry pioneers with the collective aim of breaking down the barriers preventing widescale adoption of smart building technologies to accelerate carbon reduction.

As the strategic partner of the event, the EnOcean Alliance will have an extensive presence. Multiple member companies and partners, including Pressac, Eltako, Prysmian (Draka), ISTL, EnOcean, IA Connects, MobiusFlow, Cisco, and HPE Aruba, will showcase their latest wireless sensor solutions for sustainable building digitalization based on the international EnOcean Standard. The EnOcean Alliance aims to further accelerate the adoption of sustainable building practices and help organizations achieve their net-zero emissions goals.

Smart buildings and smart spaces on the rise

The market for smart buildings and smart spaces is rapidly increasing, driven by local and national laws, directives, corporate initiatives, organizational goals, and ESG (environmental, social, governance) considerations. Smart buildings offer significant benefits, including energy and cost savings, carbon reduction, and improvements in health and wellness. Additionally, smart spaces enable space optimization, energy usage optimization, cost savings, and increases in productivity.

The SBS Leaders Forum will feature multiple educational presentations, including case studies, technological developments, market trends, regulatory requirements, and recommendations. Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in accredited CPD (Continual Professional Development) courses on-site and network with professional colleagues.

The EnOcean Alliance was launched as open non-profit organization at the Light & Building Show in 2008 with the aim of promoting the development and marketing of interoperable, maintenance-free and sustainable system solutions based on the international EnOcean Standard (ISO/IEC 14543-3-10/11).
