The Electrical Industries Charity is calling on the electrical and energy industry to step up in support of our charity.
A significant portion of the EIC’s funding each year comes from individual fundraisers. These are people from the industry who organise their own fundraising activities in support of our Charity. Without their efforts, our charity would not be able to continue offering the life-changing support we do to individuals and families in the industry who need it most.
Every fundraiser helps us be there when someone in our industry needs support.
Whether you’re taking on a personal challenge, organising an event at work, or doing something completely unique, the money raised helps us provide free, confidential support to those in the electrical and energy industries and their families, when life takes an unexpected turn.
You don’t have to run a marathon or trek for miles to make a difference (although, we’d love to cheer you on if you do!) Climb, run, walk, cycle, host a bake sale, organise a quiz night, hold a raffle, organise a dress-up day, plan a movie night, or create your own fundraising challenge; the possibilities are endless!
However you choose to get involved, every £1 raised helps someone in our industry who has reached out for support.
Fundraising is also a great way to bring people together, build team spirit, and give something back to the industry we all rely on.

Getting started can sometimes be the hardest part of your fundraising journey. We’ve outlined exactly what you need to do to get fundraising in our Fundraising Checklist below.
Fundraising Checklist:
✔ Choose your fundraising idea: Think about what you’d like to do. Do you want to overcome a challenge or tick something off your bucket list? Are you particularly good at something, like baking or crafting? Use your uniqueness as your inspiration!
✔ Tell us about your plans: We’ll support you by sending you resources and promoting your fundraising on our channels.
✔ Capture some videos and photos along the way: Sharing some photos and videos of your journey keeps people interested in what you’re doing!
✔ Share your fundraiser with friends, family and colleagues: Spread the word far and wide (and don’t forget to tag us so we can share too!)
✔ Celebrate what you’ve achieved and let us know how it went: You did it! Let us know how it went so we can celebrate your success with you.
