Consort Claudgen has introduced a new energy-saving CHMC controller compatible with their CH commercial fan heaters. Users now have the flexibility to choose between the CRXSL and CHMC controllers when using these heaters.
While the CRXSL can operate multiple heaters and is compatible with the MRX1 controller for zoning, the CHMC brings several key advantages.
The CHMC controller’s compatibility with Building Management Systems (BMS) allows for streamlined operations and centralised control. This integration simplifies facility management and allows for more innovative, energy-saving decisions. The CHMC can control up to eight heaters as a group or individually, and can be in a different room to the heaters. The electronic lock prevents unauthorised temperature adjustments, thereby reducing energy waste. The CHMC, CHES (environmental sensor) or CH heaters can sense the room temperature, allowing accurate temperature control to maintain heat levels with minimal energy waste.
Additionally, with the CHES occupancy sensor, the heater will conserve energy when it detects no movement within a given range. The CHMC is also Wi-Fi-enabled, allowing full remote functionality via the Consort Connect app and displaying heaters’ individual and total energy usage.
